Omid Aghaei, Ph.D. P.Geo.

Omid is a professional geophysicist with more than 15 years of academic and industry experience in collection, analysis, and interpretation of onshore and offshore seismic data. His work in academia and industry has involved developing seismic imaging methodologies, analysis of seismic data, and acquisition of multi-channel and multi-streamer reflection data. His industry experience at Shell Canada and other service companies included working on projects at various scales from 2D and 3D onshore and offshore data acquisition and processing to production and R&D seismic data analysis. His role at Mahan Geophysical Consulting Inc. includes business development, liaising with industry, and expansion of the technical capacity of the company.
